Proctor Elder Care Management was born out of a strong desire to assist elderly clients and their families living in the Okanagan.  All of Proctor's Care Managers have a genuine passion for working with elderly people and their families.  Proctor is owned and directed David McInerney.

David McInerney B.H.S., (Occupational Therapy)

David completed his university education as an Occupational Therapist in Australia.  Following experience working in rural Australia in both acute hospital and rehabilitation settings, David relocated to Canada.  In Kelowna David has worked in the Specialized Geriatric Services program with Interior Health.  Currently David is completing a research Masters focusing on geriatric health.  He has also completed the Canadian Falls Prevention Curriculum through the University of Victoria.

David has strong links to the local community and is involved in numerous sporting organisations, as well as sitting on the board of directors for Seniors Outreach Services Society.

David has a long history of working to assist at risk youth in both paid and volunteer capacities.  He has also been a volunteer and advocate in raising community awareness of violence against women issues. 

David's strongly developed clinical rehabilitation skills and his experience in geriatric health care, enable him to facilitate positive outcomes for clients.
